Installing TGTools.
 
Easy Installation for Finale 2004-2008 owners :
No need to download manually. Try this first:
Start one of the TG Tools plug-ins included with Finale (e.g. Easy Harmonics),
click About, then click Download & Install TGTools PRO.
On Macintosh systems,  this may require StuffIt Expander.

Finale 2000/2001 for Windows: installer does not support this directly.
Please copy TGTools.fxt manually from another version of Finale or change path in installer.

Download the installer, TGToolSetup.exe, and open it. It will do the installation automatically.

Download from the download page, unpack the download file, and put TGTools.bundle in your plug-in folder. You can choose between the zip file and the sit file for downloading. Sometimes one works better than the other.

Do not put these plug-in files into subfolders under Plug-Ins. Please put them into the main Plug-Ins folder.

SAVE your documents before applying a plug-in that you don't know well yet.

By using Finale's UNDO command, you can nearly always undo whatever a plug-in has done.

Make daily backup copies of your work and use the SAVE AS command in Finale to change your file name often, so that you retain multiple copies and different versions of your work as it progresses.
